Genspark

Genspark (by MainFunc, founded by ex-Baidu and ex-Google leaders) is an agentic workspace rather than a single chatbot. Its Super Agent uses a "Mixture-of-Agents" design: it routes each step of a task to the most suitable frontier model and tool from a library of 80+, then runs a reflection step to combine the strongest parts of each result. The aim is to consolidate several separate AI subscriptions into one autonomous assistant.

In practice that breadth is the draw. From a single prompt Genspark can produce a cited research report (its signature "Sparkpages"), a full slide deck with charts and speaker notes, a spreadsheet built by scraping and analyzing web data, documents, images, and video — and, via a Twilio voice partnership, place real phone calls to book appointments and return a summary. It also ships an agent-first AI Browser with an autopilot mode, and in 2026 launched Genspark Claw, billed as an "AI employee" running on a dedicated cloud computer.

The trade-offs are real: Genspark is strongest at research-and-create tasks but less reliable at chaining into downstream actions (CRM updates, follow-up emails), and its consumption-based credit pricing is harder to predict than a flat subscription. It reached roughly $100M ARR and over 2M monthly active users by early 2026, but public satisfaction signals are mixed — treat it as a powerful research-and-production tool rather than a fully reliable autonomous operator.
